The MAHLE flat membrane humidifier makes sure fuel cells get humid air which they need to work optimally. Together with filters, thermal management and electronics, MAHLE thus maps the essential systems in fuel cell peripherals.

MAHLE also develops technologies for fuel cell drives, e.g. air filters that reliably protect against particles and harmful gases.

The DC/DC converter, which adjusts the voltages in the system, is part of the MAHLE portfolio for fuel cells. Together with the sophisticated air and thermal management, MAHLE thus maps the essential systems in the fuel cell periphery.

World premiere at the IAA Transportation: The piston shown here is part of the new Power Cell Unit from MAHLE, which enables the use of hydrogen and thus climate-neutral operation of combustion engines.

The MAHLE high pressure impactor actively flushes the crankcase of H2 combustion engines with air and prevents flammable hydrogen from building up there.
