On Tuesday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was impressed by MAHLE innovations for sustainable mobility. Scholz visited the booth of the technology group from Stuttgart during his traditional opening tour of the IAA Mobilityin Munich. Scholz learned about smart charging solutions for companies, cities, and residential complexes. MAHLE CEO Arnd Franz explained the Group strategy and advocated technological diversity: "For MAHLE, e-mobility is a given. As a system champion, we electrify everything that has wheels. For fast and effective climate protection, we need all technologies without ideological specifications. With regard to Germany as a business location, Franz said, "The transformation of the automotive industry in Germany must succeed. For this, we need not only smart ideas but also attractive location conditions."
