- MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility presents two innovations for vehicle diagnostics at this year’s leading trade fair for the spare parts and service business
- MAHLE Digital ADAS 2.0 EXTRA: First calibration system on the market featuring ultrasonic sensors for vehicle positioning
- MAHLE TechPRO® 2 diagnostic tool with two innovative new functions: RemotePRO Air and AI-powered search function
- MAHLE consistently pursuing its digitalization strategy for the development of customer-focused solutions
MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility is presenting two new products for modern vehicle diagnostics at the 50th edition of Equip Auto, which is taking place in Paris from October 14 to 18, 2025. The MAHLE Digital ADAS 2.0 EXTRA is the first calibration system on the market to feature ultrasonic sensors that enable the correct positioning of a vehicle directly from the vehicle cabin. The MAHLE TechPRO® 2 diagnostic tool gets a significant update: Thanks to the cloud-based RemotePRO Air function, technicians can perform remote diagnostics on OEM-connected vehicles without additional equipment. The new AI-powered search function also facilitates and accelerates navigation and reduces diagnostic errors. MAHLE is consistently pursuing its digitalization strategy for the development of customer-focused solutions. This year, the Group will be represented at two prominent locations at Equip Auto: in Hall 1 as well as in the outdoor area near Hall 7.1. The MAHLE Hero Van is on site to present product demonstrations.
“We’re excited to showcase our latest developments in the area of diagnostics and calibration at Equip Auto, as France is of strategic importance to our workshop equipment business and is a top-selling country in Europe,” said Felix-Matthias Walter, Head of Global Service Solutions at MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility.
Vehicle calibration—flexible, intelligent, versatile
The MAHLE Digital ADAS 2.0 EXTRA has a rotatable, high-resolution 75-inch display, which also enables the calibration of driver assistance systems of commercial vehicles. Calibration targetscan be mapped to scale here, which is especially necessary for remote diagnostics. The new vehicle calibration tool from MAHLE also features an improved display lifting system, which ensures precise positioning for particularly high vehicles. Combined with the new ultrasonic sensors, technicians can manage correct vehicle positioning directly from the vehicle cabin without compromising visibility or accuracy. The new MAHLE Digital ADAS 2.0 EXTRA will be available for all workshops in Europe beginning in January 2026.
Artificial intelligence meets cloud technology
Two new functions make working with the MAHLE TechPRO® 2 diagnostic tool even easier and faster. The RemotePRO Air remote diagnostics function allows technicians to diagnose the status of the vehicle remotely over-the-air before it physically arrives at the workshop. This way, defects and abnormalities can be detected at an early stage. This helps workshops optimize their customer communication, scheduling and resource planning, reduce costs and thus increase customer satisfaction. Remote diagnostics support effective fleet management through continuous remote monitoring of all vehicles. This allows repairs and maintenance intervals to be planned optimally and costly downtimes to be significantly reduced. Remote diagnostics are currently available for vehicles with interconnected vehicle technology from BMW, Mini, Mercedes-Benz and Smart. More models will follow shortly. RemotePRO Air was developed in partnership with the German technology start-up DC Connected.
Another new feature in the MAHLE TechPRO® 2 is the possibility of AI-powered searching. At the heart of this function is an algorithm specially developed by MAHLE, which assigns relevance values to the results and organizes them in such a way that the most useful and relevant information appears at the top of the results list. This new function goes over and above the traditional keyword search by also being able to understand and utilize keywords, synonyms and general descriptions. Technicians do not need exact function names or precise system names to get directly to the appropriate diagnostic application.
Both applications will be available on the European market from November 2025 through a free software update for the MAHLE TechPRO® 2. The AI-powered search function is available free of charge to workshops, while cloud-based RemotePRO Air remote diagnostics is subject to usage-based fees.
