MAHLE strengthens UK aftermarket presence

  • MAHLE will for the first time sell workshop equipment directly through its UK Aftermarket sales team
  • Customers benefit from a single point of contact for both products and support
  • Local MAHLE warehouse in Bilston (West Midlands) ensures greater product availability and will shorten delivery times
  • Dedicated field engineer and service van provides on-site installation, support, demonstrations and training.

MAHLE will now for the first time shift to a direct sales approach for its workshop equipment in the UK, distributing through its Aftermarket organization and having customers work directly with its established aftermarket sales team instead of a separate company structure. This provides a single point of contact for product enquiries, quotations, technical advice and customer support. By integrating workshop equipment into its existing aftermarket operations, MAHLE strengthens its connection with workshops and distribution partners. Local stock held at the MAHLE Bilston facility ensures greater product availability, reduces lead times and enables faster access to the workshop equipment customers need. Service is further enhanced through a new mobile support offering: a dedicated field engineer and MAHLE service van provides installations, technical support, live demonstrations and product training directly at customer workshops.

“The UK market is an important growth area for MAHLE Service Solutions. By combining direct sales, local availability and on-site technical support, we are making it easier for workshops to access the products, expertise and training they need to succeed,” said Andy Lees, Head of Western Europe at MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility.

Known for supplying over 15,000 product references of high-quality filters, engine parts, gaskets, rotating electrics, air conditioning and engine cooling components from its Bilston (West Midlands) warehouse since 2009, the expansion into workshop equipment further deepens MAHLE’s commitment to helping workshops navigate an increasingly complex automotive landscape.

The entire UK workshop equipment range, from air conditioning (A/C) service and transmission oil service equipment to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration machines and diagnostic tools, will be showcased, demonstrating how MAHLE solutions help workshops improve productivity, efficiency and profitability.

Training delivered directly at customer workshops eliminates travel time, minimizes disruption to daily operations and provides technicians with practical, hands-on instruction in a real-world working environment.
